This workshop series could be called ‘Your Female Pelvis- An Owner’s Manual’ because it is about so much more than just pelvic pain, back pain, incontinence, and strength. This is a workshop about how your pelvis is an integral part of your whole body and how to improve or maintain your pelvic health at any age.

Laura Schaeffer - BsKIN, MsCPT, Certified Women’s Health Therapist
Laura’s experience is in treating various pelvic health conditions including pregnancy pain, birth preparation, postpartum care, sacroiliac and pubic symphysis dysfunction, diastasis rectus, pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, among others. Laura creates a safe, comfortable and trusting environmentas an integral part of her practice. Through treatment her goal is to assist women to achieve their goals and for women to feel empowered, strong and get back to feeling their best self. Women should feel in control of their own healing and destiny and confident in their ability to connect with their body and know how to help themselves.
Sarah Garden - Yoga Therapist and Critical Alignment Therapist
Sarah has been working as a yoga therapist for almost 15 years and has 2000hrs of formal training and thousands of hours of classroom time. She specializes in back and pelvic health and women’s health issues. Sarah’s approach is to help students connect more deeply with their bodies through education, embodied postures, breathing practices, meditation, and relaxation. Her deepest wish is to empower women to take charge of their own health and provide them with the tools to do just that.

Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions

This workshop is designed for women experiencing pelvic floor tightness, bladder over activity, pelvic floor weakness, urine leakage, and/or pelvic organ prolapse. It will provide you with tools from yoga and physiotherapy to help you work with your symptoms and the underlying cause.
